Ok this sounds a bit odd. I have had three longer term relationships. I’ve been with the third, my OH for 6-7 years but all my ex’s are linked but don’t know each other (well OH knows my ex as I have DS with my ex but they didn’t know each other before) and all come from different areas.
Boyfriend 1 - he lived 25 miles away from where I lived. I met him through his sister at college. He had an uncle who was married to a lady. Let’s name her karen for the sake of this and she lived up near where I did. She is the most important part of the story.
Split up with boyfriend 1 and a few months later get with boyfriend 2. His stepdad was once married to karen and had children with her and still remained good friends. Ok weird... my two ex’s didn’t know each other at all thankfully but didn’t think much of it.
We split up I get with my OH a year or two later. before going out with me my OH had a long term relationship with this lady called Deborah. Deborah had children with Karens brother so she was once Karens sister in law and Karen is the aunt of my partners once step kids!
Sounds really stupid I know but these three men are from different areas and Karen lives in another. They aren’t the same age and don’t know each other.
Is it a a bit weird? 🤣 or am I over thinking it??
