Marriage proposal, how was it for you?

My husband proposed at the Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland, for me it was very romantic even though it was windy and raining, I just adore that place

It was genuinely magical. I had no idea it was coming but he proposed on the cliffs at home (coastal living 👍🏻) at night with fireworks in the background, down on one knee, all of it. Sounds a little showy but it was so romantic and I cried (and swore a lot) and he did the most perfect job with the ring.

Another thing for me is that I am very straight forward, after just 2 weeks of dating I told him that we would be getting married and I would hope it be sooner rather than later, to his credit he didn't back off at that and he agreed

I kinda knew it was coming but it was still lovely and romantic
