Can you explain that in English, to add to it, kids are at private school, hence her not dumping hubby to live in crappy flats on crappy wages with lover boy.

my friend just got a job at a village school. She was told that most of the parents are swingers

charliecat · 13/07/2007 18:05

Oh yes, I know some of them;)

Poor dp stands next to our neighbour's wife most days on the train station platform. She always has her tongue down some other bloke's neck, which makes him feel awkward when we see her and her dh out walking the dogs at the weekend.

WendyWeber · 13/07/2007 18:27

In the morning??, Franny?

charliecat · 13/07/2007 18:30

Morning and evening

He never spots her until it is too late and then he is jammed up next to them in the commuter crush and can't get away

WideWebWitch · 13/07/2007 18:34

Ewww at F&Z's woman

FirenzeandZooey · 13/07/2007 18:37

I know

we don't know them at all well though - they are from a few doors down

for all we know they are living separate lives and just waiting for the kids to leave home

or he may have been having 3 zillion affairs for years

charliecat · 13/07/2007 18:43

And different men? Farking eck.

FirenzeandZooey · 13/07/2007 18:52

oh no sorry, the same one

that would be something, wouldn't it?

ahundredtimes · 13/07/2007 18:55

Glory she's not energy for that time in the morning hasn't she?

I had a friend who lived in a village and she had an affair with another man, and when his wife kicked him out, he moved in with her and her dh. Very weird. She was a bit unbalanced really

Is village life for you, I reckon.

collisionfrances · 13/07/2007 18:55

Well it took my Granny 25 years to find out my Grandad was screwing some woman in the village and everyone knew but her!

FirenzeandZooey · 13/07/2007 18:57

We don't live in a village

ahundredtimes · 13/07/2007 19:41

Twenty-five years? Glory. Do you think she just didn't want to know sort of thing?

lol @ Franny's snooty town response.

We've just had one go public in next village. Husband shagging his wife's 'best' friend. 2 years in the making. All very messy. Both parties have children at school together etc.

The whole village is gossiping about it but in that pretending not to be way - "I'm just so concerned for wifey".

Dior it is in London. I guess she feels anonymous there but unfortunately dp works in the same area

Dumbledior · 13/07/2007 20:17

It is a small world, and especially when someone is having an affair

NKF · 13/07/2007 20:19

Village life eh! Sounds truly fascinating.

NKF · 13/07/2007 20:20

Do they think nobody knows?

thomcat · 13/07/2007 20:29

How sad for the husband and their children.

Isn't gossip that can end up with peoples lives ruined absolutley awful.

thomcat · 13/07/2007 20:32

And sorry, what exactly is fascinating about gossip where a family are probaly likey to be torn apart. Is it just me that thinks this is sad? I don't think I get this thread. Am I missing something? Haven't loads of women on here had part of their life destroed by adultery, and yet suddenly this is fun gossip? I think I must be missing something here.

aloha · 13/07/2007 20:34

Thomcat, someone new with a lovely ds with Downs would love to hear from you on SN! (no angst and she's about as pregnant as you I think!)
