What are your thoughts on meeting a partners kids, family and friends ? He told his ex he was speaking to someone from work last September, its been a bit rocky for 2 months due to us having time apart but now its in a good place I feel ready for more. It just feels like things are on hold because of the kids mum. Maybe i am expecting too much too soon ?!

How long ago did he split up with her, are you the OW, are you his first GF since the split , do you have kids too, is it serious, do you plan to live, together, how often does he have his kids?

Give that you have only been dating for 6 months and have already split for 2, it doesn’t sound that great to me TBH.

Why was it rocky for two months?

Think they split up last january so yes im first hes seen since then. I have a 3yr old and dont live with him as about 1.5hrs away from each other. He has his kids every wkend from fri to sun so is very responsible and a good daddy. Been bit rocky as both had wobble about what want and distance.
