He cheated again

My BF and I had been together 2 and 1/2 years and Saturday night I found out that he had been cheating on me for the last month, no sex or meeting up but things like sending sex related messages and nudes that kind of stuff.
A bit of background when we had been together only a few weeks he kissed an ex I made it very clear this wasn't acceptable and that if he did it again I would leave him but I took him back and we moved on. As far as I was aware we were both happy.

I had my suspicions this was going on but had no evidence and couldn't get any as he never left his phone in the same room.
I have since split up with him and I won't be going back but I feel so lost and betrayed. I just really want some reassurance that this feeling does get better or hear others stories that get better as I'm feeling quite alone at the moment.

2 and a half years is a long time, but it will get easier.

Just to add men are not all like this. I thought they must be for quite some time, my view was really jaded, I expected to be cheated on. Luckily DH showed me this isn’t the case.

Yeah yesterday I was considering becoming a lesbian but I just hope I find someone to prove that ring I just wish it was him. The thing that annoys me the most is I still love him
