Hi ok here goes, my partner has had 2 rounds of unsuccessful ivf treatments with his past partner and basically was told he would never naturally father a child of his own, I already have 3 children from past relationship and knowing his circumstances i took the risk of not using contraception thinking we are safe, well 2 weeks ago i proved positive now my partner believes its not his and ive been sleeping behind his back which of course has turned our relationship sour, ive tried asking him to go back for more tests as clearly something has changed and in the hope he will believe me, hes refusing and demanding a dna when born, of course ive nothing to hide and would do it for him as this is what hes always wanted but i cant help but feel and question wether i want to stay and be with a man who doesnt trust me, any advice or if this kind of thing has happened to anyone before id love to hear if it has a happy ending x

Sorry he has reacted like this OP, he is behaving appallingly. It seems very odd to me that he is refusing to go for tests though. Surely if he's always wanted his own child, and now he might actually have one, he is refusing to accept it?? I'm afraid that would tell me he doesn't actually want to be a father.
Sorry but I would dump him, do the dna test to prove its his and do NOT take him back.

Also, is his intention to stay with you until the dna test is done? Then when its proved the child is his, he will assume you then play happy families?? No chance.
