I have a loving husband who once or twice when we were drunk would put my stockings on for love making which I found just a bit of fun but recently i have found other items of lingerie hidden that I know is his. I brought it up and he was embarrassed and not open to talking about it. Has any other ladies had similar experiences?

Yes. There's already a recent cross dressing thread on this board and on that you will also find a link to another thread, the other thread called transwidows has many many woman who've experienced this.

Ps. My DH is one and I'm ok with it. You will find many, many woman find it a deal breaker, and there is always the possibility that cross dressing can escalate and end up as full gender re assignment later on in life.
