Need to leave but I feel bad

We’ve been dating just over 6 months and it started off great but the sex fizzled out after just a few weeks. I worried that he didn’t fancy me as he once mentioned that the reason things didn’t work out with his ex was because all they had in common was sex.

But he’s just told me that he’s been having problems with his sex drive recently and that he doesn’t even wake up with an erection anymore (sorry, TMI).

I want to end the relationship but feel like I’m a bad person for not sticking around and supporting him. He says he loves me and would be devastated if I left.

I’m so torn I don’t know what to do.

You don't owe him anything and leaving ghim whilst it's still a young relationship is better than leaving it until later.

His happiness or yours??
Be sensible op.

I do care a lot about him and it’s really hard to walk away because he was sort of my last hope to have a family (I’m early 40s) but I am reasoning with myself that if we don’t have sex anyway, conception is going to be unlikely!

Urgh! Why is life so unfair? My last relationship was with an emotionally abusive arsehole and this guy is so lovely. But I can’t live without sex Sad

I met dh at 41 and had a dc at 43.
He isn't your last hope op.

Thank you @Easterbunnyiscomingsoon
That does give me hope.

How did you meet your dh?

I work in a predominantly female environment and loath internet dating. How do people meet these days other than Internet dating?
