ANNIVERSARY IDEAS!!!

Hello everybody!

Myself and my DP will be celebrating our five year anniversary next month. For each of our previous years we have always gone and done something fun or exciting just the two of us. This year we're stuck for ideas!

We are moving house soon so don't want to go TOO overboard but we usually do something we wouldn't usually do (not just go for a meal). Does anybody have any ideas for something fun OR original?! Doesn't have to be too out there just looking for something a little more than the cinema etc.

Thanks guys! Xx

Give him wood.

Cheap and easy Grin

Sex, free and pretty easy to do.

Before we were actually a couple and just FWB me and Dp ended up going bowling it was one of those adults only after a certain time and had a nice bar area too.
I'd actually won a voucher for free bowling and my friend wouldn't go with me so I'd text him and asked if he fancied it. We had a really good time, got a little competitive but in a fun way and had pizza and cocktails too.
That was the night I decided he was bf material after all! Still remember it as one of the best nights we've had.

Don't think it's overly expensive if you pay either.
Or look and see if there's any local bands playing, depending on the type of music you like. Those small gigs are generally really good fun and even if they aren't great it ends up being a remember when we saw.....

Agree with WhoGives

Maybe seduce him & try out a position or two that you fancy

We once went to one of those trampoline parks too on a adult only night too. That was fun and quite a work out.

What have you done in the past?

Aprilshowersarecomingsoon · 11/02/2019 20:30

Llama trekking! We went as a wedding gift!!

GirlOnIt · 11/02/2019 20:44

Ice skating if you live near a ring or see if there's one of those tacky fairs on nearby, you know with waltzers and those type rides. Hopefully not too outing as I'm sure other cities do them but we have a big valentines fair and I insist on Dp taking me, even though it's really tacky and full of teens 😂

Or you low something sophisticated like the museum or a gallery, or whatever adults should really be doing.

GirlOnIt · 11/02/2019 20:44

Know not low.

GirlOnIt · 11/02/2019 20:52

And if you're really not wanting to spend much. For one of my birthdays Dp was skint (been off work and only basic sick pay). So we stayed in. He made home made pizzas and set up a ice cream sundae bar for desert. Different flavour ice creams, toppings in little bowls, cream and sauces. Was yummy and led on to quite a fun night if I remember correctly.

I should point out that it wasn't a random suggestion - five years is wood.

Sleepyquest · 11/02/2019 20:56

Pottery class
Ceramic painting
Couples massage
Spa day
Cooking demo
Day trip to a nice town

vgiraffe · 11/02/2019 21:01

DH and I hired a canoe for one of our anniversaries, don't know if it will be a bit cold for that though.

Beebumble2 · 11/02/2019 22:36

5 years is wood, so a winter walk and picnic in a wood. Then a beautiful Japanese Acer in a pot for your new garden.

woodentop123 · 12/02/2019 08:53

Thank you all for your brilliant suggestions! Great ideas!

I think we're going to go to the zoo and then out for a meal afterwards! We both love animals and neither of us have been in years!!!
