My ex is in an abusive relationship. And he's reached out to me for some help, we split amicably and we dont have children together, although he has a little girl (just turned seven I think) with a friend of his. We weren't together long, maybe a few months a couple of years but the spark never went off.
His new girlfriend appears very nice when you first meet her, she's managed to trick his whole family (Including his Grandmother) into liking her. But behind closed doors she is vicious, she repeatedly puts him down, she makes fun of his job (He's a school caretaker) she physically abuses him and she's horrid to his daughter.
I could post more of what she inflicts on him, but I don't want to distress anyone who's sensitive.
I want to help him, not because he's my ex but because he's a human being and a good guy. I've helped him call the police and let him stay with me - But I feel like I could do more
