Why do I keep going back...:

Why do I keep going back to someone who makes me unhappy!

Every single time we have an argument I say this will be the end and it never is. I always end up going back for some reason. I obviously love him but I'm just making myself look and feel stupid.

We have no children, aren't married, don't live together, so nothing is stopping me leaving, but I just can't!

Someone give me a kick up the arse please!

You're attached and can't see any hope of finding anyone else?

NewStyleFor2019 · 02/02/2019 12:20

Maybe.... I really don't know. Just wish I could break the cycle and not go back.

I think maybe I think of all the good times we've had?

You need to remember the reasons you split up.

He's controlling you, if you are allowing him to get inside your mind and go back

NewStyleFor2019 · 02/02/2019 14:29

I know. Very controlling. It's a toxic relationship but I seem to forget all the things I tell myself when we break up. Ugh! I'm such an idiot sometimes

Is it possible to cut him out of your life completely when you break up, eg block his number, block him on social media, make a clean break? Minimise the chance of contact from him? Life is far too short for this drama.

NewStyleFor2019 · 02/02/2019 15:49

It's possible to block on everything and cut him out but for some reason I can't! I don't know what it is. Maybe hope that he'll change and be who he was when we first got together!!

I need a good kick up the arse. It's so draining
