Have you ever changed your mind about someone?

What happened in your case? Especially if you were 100% friends first?

I had an ex who was a friend- totally platonic- and I developed feelings after years of nothing after we got closer emotionally. It was a total change though at the time, to the extent of telling a mutual friend and her not believing me.

Although I also saw another ex recently that I ultimately rejected and thought - yeah, I did the right thing. He’s a nice guy but I’ll never change my mind.

What about you?

I think the platonic friendship to 'romantic feelings' is something a lot of people can experience. Hence why I don't really believe in platonic friendships between the opposite sexes...but that's just me.

@Pinkmonkeybird but how does that work with people who are gay/bisexual? Can two gay men for example not be friends without feelings developing? I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you, just wondering really. I have male friends but not close friends.

My partner was definitely in the friends category at first, then I developed an affinity for his thighs and it all developed from there. Can't beat a good pair of thighs!

You definitely can have close friends of the opposite sex. All but one of my closest friends are male.

On the platonic friendship thing I think it depends on how close you are. I think it’s possible but once you cross certain emotional boundaries it can get complicated because the ‘what if’ starts popping up
