What’s with all the herpes threads?

Just as the title says really. Is it just a massive coincidence?

Most are old threads so someone has been researching and commenting on herpes without realising the threads are old and thus bumping them up.

Can't rule out some hairy-handedness at work either, or someone posting from under their bridge.

I was wondering the same thing.

It almost seems as if there’s some kind of online effort (not an organised one, just something that’s happened as more and more people join in) to maximise the stigma associated with the HSV virus. It’s odd because it’s kind of the opposite to what’s been happening with other STIs. So the threads are probably part of that.

They’re two different viruses.

HSV (herpes) is different to HPV. Only one letter difference though.

Absolutely ridiculous isn't it? It's the same poster resurrecting every single thread. No idea what their agenda is but all of their comments have been deleted by MNHQ - I guess the threads just stay up as they have been added to today.

They've all been bumped by someone offering mystic healing through God or some such nonsense. I can't think of a less likely demographic to fall for that shit that MNetters, so I think he's wasted his time.
