Feeling lonely

After splitting up with my ex I relocated to be closer to my sister in Southampton because I was struggling as a single parent to hold down a full time job which expected me to work late or go abroad with no family near by to help. I moved my 2 girls and managed to settle them into new primary and secondary schools. I worked full time so never met any other mums. Shortly after moving my sister then got ill and was diagnosed with ME and has been too ill and tired to go out although I do pop in to see her whenever I can. This was 3 years ago now and my girls are growing up - They are now both at secondary school and I have finally managed to get a job working from home so I can be around for them more but I feel so alone. They need me less and less but I feel so cut off and lonely. I haven't made a single friend since I moved. I feel so depressed.

Aw I didn't want to read and run so sending you a virtual hug. Loneliness is awful. I will write properly later.

Google meetup. They have groups in many places, mainly for meeting like minded people, to eat out, go to pub quizzes, theatre, all sorts.
