I'm not sure this is the best place but I know there are lots of posters here who have 'done it all and got the t-shirt' so hopefully some of you will have some good advice....

I'm looking for the best place or way to get cold hard cash for my Wedding and engagement rings.

They were both in the region of £1200 in 2004/06 both are platinum and diamond if that makes any difference or if anyone can advise what paltry sum I can expect for them. Thanks

The value of jewellery drops a lot when resold. Maybe your best bet is to take the rings to a couple of jewellers and see what sort of prices they offer.

My first engagement ring was £2,500 only 5 years ago. I struggled to get £600 for it second hand even though I had all the certificates and authentication, so it’s likely shrug the price and age of yours you’d be likely only to get around £300.
It’s such a shame they devalue so much Sad

Likely with the age and price of yours
