Am I overreacting?

Started a new relationship not long.
At first we would talk all the time and he'd make so much effort with me. Always asking how am and what I'm doing etc.

Since we decided to go all in, he's different.

We do text daily but it feels forced, he doesn't make any effort to see me but yet does tell me he wants me and that I'm his. He gets a bit jealous of silly things. When I ask him he says he's just really busy at the moment and got lots on.

I just feel at the start of relationship it should be exciting and passionate and he should want to get to know me. But he doesn't.

I don't know what to do?

Dump and run - far and fast.
Jealousy already!!???
Huge red flag.
You are getting nothing out of this.
Time to move on.
By the way....

What hellsbells wrote here. You need to take heed.

RagingWhoreBag · 21/01/2019 10:34

He wants you and you’re his but he can’t be arsed to make an effort to spend time with you? Jealous of silly things (I’m guessing you talking to or being friends with other men) but too busy to see you (my guess, he’s projecting and he’s the one seeing other people, sorry).

Either way, bin this one, he’s not making you happy.

Loveneedslove · 21/01/2019 10:48

He gets jealous if he thinks I'm talking to other people.

But he just doesn't seem to care about me. It doesn't make sense.

What are you getting out of the relationship? What positives is he bringing to your life?

It sounds like your life would be better without him in it.

Loveneedslove · 21/01/2019 11:56

I'm not sure what he brings to my life now, he did bring happiness and I felt wanted. Now I don't know

Run

SuperSuperSuper · 22/01/2019 08:56

Call him today and tell him it's not working. Wish him well and then block/delete.

If you persevere with this ridiculous relationship you'll never be off this board with one problem or another, so get rid.

crackasmile · 22/01/2019 08:59

If he's like this at the start he will be no fun in a few years. I'd trust your gut and run

Loveneedslove · 22/01/2019 11:22

I don't trust him at all he's active on Instagram all day. He is projecting onto me for his behaviour.

It's time to end it, I'm not going to phone him. I'm just going to walk away

The moment I make my choice to walk away, he starts making effort. Really going out of his way.

This lasted all of two days 🙄

Did you do the Freedom Programme as suggested before? Tell me this isn't the awful guy you posted about at the start of the month? But then if it's not, you've moved very fast onto the next one.

wishywashy6 · 23/01/2019 20:41

Yeah that's not how a relationship is meant to be, run
