What do I do?

Me and partner had an argument. Fallen out real good. He's took 16 paracetamol said he feels dizzy. Fell down the stairs. I rung the ambulance. 2 hour wait and asked if I could take him myself. Which I said yes. He got his shoes and coat on and left the house. Won't answer his phone. No idea where he is and I'm worried sick. I can't go and look for him as I have our 2 children at home in bed. Where can I go from here? What do I do? Do I just sit and worry all night and hope he comes home? Who do I go to for help?

Definitely call the police. Depending on other factors, 16 paracetamol can be fatal and he needs treatment ASAP. I'm a bit surprised the ambulance wouldn't come out as a priority given the circumstances but it sounds like he might need to be forced to get medical help in which case you need the police.

I myself took an overdose of Panadol mid last year( a lot more than 16 tablets) more like 30 plus I lost count. I quietly went to sleep told nobody woke up early hours of the morning being violently ill. Went on for several hours until I just kept wrenching. Eventually went to hospital. Put on drip all looked good after a two day stay. Last blood test before leaving showed my liver was starting to fail ended up staying in hospital for ten days. Luckily by some miracle I have no lasting issues with my liver. Please get him found and to hospital the longer it's in system the worse the outcome could be.
