Has anyone been on the show who has posted on here?

OP posts:
whatsthepointthen · 04/01/2019 13:38

Thinking of going on?

loveyoutothemoon · 04/01/2019 13:45

No! Was just wondering if anyone had posted on here that also tried to resolve their problems on the show?!

Kannet · 04/01/2019 13:47

I often wonder why people agree to go on programmes like this.

ErickBroch · 04/01/2019 14:00

A woman I know did - she couldn't afford a private paternity test and the dad was refusing to acknowledge the child and was being really vile about to everyone.

whatsthepointthen · 04/01/2019 14:08

SOme threads do come across as abit Jeremy kyle, not sure anyone will admit to it though!

Orange6904 · 04/01/2019 14:09

I should. My life has turned into a Jeremy Kyle show. lol.

MrsCar · 04/01/2019 14:11

So he can shout in your face and make the situation a hundred times worse? Confused

NotTheFordType · 04/01/2019 14:17

@ErickBroch did she regret it?

I can understand not having the money for a DNA test but I'd rather get a second job for a few months than go on that show.

MumsyJ · 04/01/2019 14:21

Nope. But, I do agree with @whatsthepointthen.

SparklyMagpie · 04/01/2019 14:31

@ErickBroch what was the outcome?

I don't know anyone but my cousin's real dad had tried to go on and my cousin received a letter and completely ignored it.
He was abusive to my auntie and as far as I'm concerned my uncle ( not my cousin's bio dad) will always be his father and my cousin had fuck all interest

Someones got to have been on it though surely?

I couldn't handle anyone ever seeing me out shopping or something and identifying me Grin but then I have no reason to ever be on there

RoseOfSharyn · 04/01/2019 14:36

I know a couple who have been on...twice Shock

rumred · 04/01/2019 14:40

I met a man who'd been on and am aware of others who have been. They were social care clients. And it was definitely a 15 minutes of fame scenario for them, didn't seem to solve any problems

mummyhaschangedhername · 04/01/2019 14:44

My friend went on a few years ago. I wasn't friends with her at the time as we have only know each other a couple of years but I keep forgetting to ask her about it. It was something to do with her father, her family has some seriously messed up issues, she's lovely though.

Wolfiefan · 04/01/2019 14:46

Haha at the idea that show “resolves” issues. It’s simply car crash TV.

Santaisfastasleepatlast · 04/01/2019 14:46

A local man from my old neighbourhood went on with his dw and her dsis with which he both had dc to....
Wasn't pretty.

Closetbeanmuncher · 04/01/2019 14:49

Doesn't he only shout in your face if you don't "put something on the end of it" Grin

I would be automatically disqualified from the application process anyway; too many teeth and no STIs.....GrinGrin

ErickBroch · 04/01/2019 15:49

For those asking: he was the dad, the outcome was him accepting it, he now pays CSA and is involved quite heavily in the kids life.

I agree it isn't for me, but I am from one of the poorest towns in the UK and sometimes there isn't a lot of options for people. She didn't have a job, had a new baby and was getting a lot of abuse from people. Was obviously very difficult for her.

SparklyMagpie · 04/01/2019 17:01

@ErickBroch glad to hear of the outcome and her finally getting some help

PinkHeart5914 · 04/01/2019 17:10

The program is good for a giggle sometimes

The ones that get me are when you have say a man, unemployed, no teeth, numerous dc he doesn’t pay a penny for and the lady is wanting a Lie test and fighting another woman for him. Like why love he is NOT a catch!

But no I know of nobody that’s been on the show

thecatsarecrazy · 04/01/2019 17:45

I know someone who's brother went on. He's pretty much what you would expect.

Pixikitten0123 · 04/01/2019 18:50

I was a teacher at one point and I’ve seen quite a few ex students on the show... 😳

DavetheCat2001 · 04/01/2019 19:37

Change of tac slightly, but does anyone find JK attractive?

loveyoutothemoon · 04/01/2019 19:48

dave think it might be the authority?!

OP posts:
DavetheCat2001 · 04/01/2019 20:14

He's strangely repulsive...😳

Iooselipssinkships · 04/01/2019 20:34

Not been on it but was in the audience once and had my face on TV for a couple of seconds.
JK is just as horrible when the cameras aren't rolling. He rips into the audience thinking he's funny and witty but it's all actually quite mean. Called a woman fat and told my brother to get a hair cut.
