Any words of advise for DS who is upset about not seeing his DS

My DS (7) has seen his (half) sister once since she was born about 18 months ago, his dad is going through the court & it seeing her at the moment - I assume for a few hours a week to build up contact - he thinks he’s never going to see her again - he’s said her mother doesn’t want her to see him & the court don’t care about brothers.

His father tends to (IMO) overshare these kinds of things with him so I don’t know what he’s been told & what he feels is true.

I told him once his Dad sees her more they will able able to have time together but he doesn’t believe me.

Any words of wisdom?

Erm I dont know, I think its wuite common for half siblings to grow up seperately tbh. My children have a brother they will never meet, Just the way it goes.
