Asking on behalf of my friend but the basics are that she’s been dating her DP for a few years, she’s just turned 30 no kids, he’s 34 with two grown up kids of 16 & 12.
She’s unsure if she wants kids at this point in her life, loves her BF dearly and doesn’t want to break up BUT what happens if she decides to want to have a child later on in a few years but can’t because he’s had a vasectomy... how would you feel? What would you do? Would you break up? Adopt? surrogate? Donor?
He said he could/would have it reversed if she felt that strongly about it but the success rates aren’t great.
She’s unsure about how she feels, and isn’t sure if she “may” want a baby with him in the future just because she can’t at the moment...
Would it be a deal breaker for you if you weren’t sure if you wanted children at this point.
