What to do for mum's birthday....

I want to plan a full day thing for my mum. It'll be me, my mum, my brother, my partner, DD (7) and DS (0). I guess that means a spa day is out the window... :(

Any ideas? Nothing too strenuous. I just want her to relax...

Why on earth does it have to be everyone? I know that as a mum myself I would want an indulgent relaxing treat as me as a woman if you see what I mean. Having to enjoy myself with kids and grandkids would be a strain. I would much prefer a spa, shopping or an adult only lunch. After all wouldn't you?

Maybe a compromise? How about a morning walk by the beach with everyone with coffee/cake/ice-cream followed by just you and your Mum doing a spa followed by dinner for all the adults?

@Feckers2018 she lives 3 hours away and rarely sees us. All she wants is to see her grandson and spend time with us. I think she would be disappointed if she came to visit for the day and ended up not seeing her grandson at all. That's just her. I know her really well and know she would want us all there

@MeTigger can't do spa with DS that's the problem. They're all adult only and he's only 10 weeks old.
