Reaching out to Best Friend

Hi

Just a quick question...

Me and my best friend suddenly stopped talking in June. First I assumed it was because I was very reliant on her and would message her quite a lot. I did apologize for this and explained why I did it (anxiety problems and always needing constant reassurance).

Anyway, I recently heard from a close mutual friend that this other girl we both know had been shit stirring. Basically she had told my best friend I had been bitching about her to her. My best friend must have been annoyed with me that day, and when this girl said these things it must have hurt her.

I've reached out to her on recently telling her how false the accusations were and asking how she was. Also apologized if I was ever a bad friend to her and neglected her in anyway. Not sure what to do next?

Thanks

It sounds like you have done your best.

Yeah, just a bit frustrating as I can only reach her via email or through her boyfriend. I've already emailed twice but yet again not everyone checks their emails

Lucky escape you've had. A friend who would believe that if you? (whatever it was)

Some thing I learned from being smeared by a sociopath was that those who love you never believe it. And those who are fake friends believe it all too soon.

A real friend would have asked you about whatever you had supposedly done at the very least.

She never was your friend, and the universe has found a way to show you. Get rid, and look to more lovely friends (as you deserve) xx
