Missing my colleague

I'm having a lovely Christmas but I miss my colleague who I work closely with. Is that ridiculous?

In what way do you miss them? Do you communicate out of work? If you are friends, why now text or call and say hi?
I have made friends at work and we talk out of work all the time.

Why would it be ridiculous?
