I need some coping strategies to help me deal with the intense dislike I am feeling towards the IL's.

I have fibromyalgia, and it can cause depression, and sometimes my flare ups can be stress related - not always, but some are. I also feel a bit low at the minute, (Just moved house, struggling to settle, unable to CM), so am not sure if this affecting how I feel, but I find myself getting so wound up by PIL and step MIL. I can feel myself getting tense just typing it, but does anyone have any coping strategies I can use when I start feeling like this? I feel it's self-induced stress and if i was able to deal with it better then i would

tis difficult

It is difficult. Unlike you though Tutter, I'm not actually staying with mine, and we now a good 6/7 hour drive from them. It's the emails and text messages and other things that are getting to me

Why are the emails/texts etc getting to you? Frequency? Content?
