that is wonderful, my relative has had a simialr situation and has also left after a teribel assualt I think people like you who leave a realtionship like this are so strong and you should feel proud of yourself and ..never go back. But so glad you have left him, i've seen your threads on mumsnet a lot and hoped one day you would feel able leave it is is such great news
