Both a bit drunk, work colleagues. He initiated it but has a gf, I called him out on it. Feel weird about it today

And your question is ?

People get drunk and do silly thinkgs. Unless you have a thing for him - just write it off as a one-off.
No need to feel weird. You didn’t do anything wrong.

You nipped it in the bud and it's a fairly old fashioned and non threatening way of showing affection. Did he take the calling out well? Because that's the difference, if he held your hand you said no and he respected it, then not so bad... if he got pushy, that's getting a bit more serious.

I've held hands with colleagues of the opposite sex while drunk, it was just platonic drunken friendliness.

Ok thanks, he did at one point say “you look so cute doing that” so it felt more than friendliness. We got some food and chatted, I ignored it then went separate ways

Well how do you feel about it? Are you in a relationship? Are you attracted to your colleague?

Hand holding alone I wouldn't read too much into but it sounds like he was being fairly flirty otherwise.

Either really stamp down on it and keep your dealings strictly professional or else have a conversation with him about your feelings for each other.

I’m not in a relationship but he is! I think I’ll just keep my distance, I do get on well with him but want to leave it rherec
