To think these were massive red flags?!?

I was talking to a mate today about men from when we were younger. One popped I to my head.
I was 18 (a young 18) and met a 25 year old. He was very intense from the off and we started dating. I was still a virgin and I think he kind of got off on it tbh. I started getting the feeling people didn't like him and I was right. We were in a bar once and his mates were texting him from the same bar and he was all over me They were obviously egging him on and he was totally touching me up. It was so uncomfortable. Being young I ignored it as you sometimes do! The final straw was when he had a huge fight in a bar with some guy. it was mortifying. After the fight he was shouting and told me he has genital warts. ive never walked away so quick! He was a horror! That is red flag central Yeah?

This does make me think about other red flags I missed from early relationships when I didn’t know better. One I always think of was when I was 19 a guy getting angry with me - proper angry - when he couldn’t keep it up because I ‘wasnt doing things right’. He then sulked and I apologised.

I lost my virginity to a 28yr old when I was 18, he was a bit "super athletic" in the bedroom, lots of positions but I would be so sore by the end that my labia swelled enormously and I think he ended up sore too. Not good but I didn't know any different.

I also went on a few dates with a 35 year old when I was 19. He was very intense too and had form for chasing girls young enough to be his kids. That was sick aswell
