Feel desperate to meet someone and obsessing about it

Been split up with my ex for 18 months. Met someone quite soon after that and was with them for nearly a year, split up a month ago. I feel like I can’t be alone but I want to be. Went on a dating site but can’t be bothered! I just want to be happy in myself!

Relax. Go introspective. What do you actually want - company, sex, marriage, someone to bitch at in the evenings about work, someone who'll drag you out to parties when you're tired? You might need a wild friend, a shopping trip to Lovehoney, or a sibling to talk to. Or you might not need any of those things.

Sit back and work it out first.

I don’t know what I want? Not marriage, not really company but evenings are boring. Sex, not too bothered but a cuddle would be nice. Went out with friends last weekend and had a fab time!
I’ve got 3 kids, 16, 12 and 4 x

Oh, the joys of kids old enough to babysit! You should definitely get out with friends more :)
