How to handle situation with guy at work?

I've been dating a guy from work for a month or so. Been pretty casual but we've had some nice dates. Last date was Wednesday when he took me out for my birthday. Everything normal since then.

I've been away this weekend with barely any signal and my phone keeps mixing up iMessage and text message so yesterday some of my texts went through twice. I think he thought I was chasing him for not replying? Anyway today and yesterday I've barely heard from him which is really really unusual.

So what do I do when I get back to work? I'm on holiday until Thursday and I'm just dreading it. Do I ignore him or is it better to find out what's going on beforehand?

Message him telling him what's happened with your phone.

I have and since then he hasn't replied - I also noticed that it's done it again!!!

Hmm.

OP. Have you ever left your phone unattended around him?

icedqueen · 02/12/2018 19:55

No I haven't - what would make you say that? He leaves his unattended around me, by the way.

Oh because issues with messaging (and not ghosting but errors in sending receiving) always make me very twitchy indeed. Could be nothing but...

Sorry to be crass but when you say dating, you have presumably physically gone to sleep around him? Obviously if you have then it has been unattended.

Is this guy on 02 or giffgaff? Huge problems last few days. None of my messages have gone through and my DH messages come through 4 times! If either of you are on that network don’t send or expect any more messages. Just go to work as normal and email him for a catch up coffee when you’re at work. Just play it cool
