best neibourhoods in ealing

Please HELP! with your advice.
We are a bit nervous about our move to London. We have visited London but never stayed more than 3 days.

We are planning to move to Ealing but need to know which areas or neighbourhoods are a bit safer and better for raising your kids. we have 2 little kids 4 and 6 years old. please also let us know the areas to avoid if any.

We appreciate your input and recommendation.

Northfields, South Ealing, the area around Montpelier school, the trees estate, west Ealing, old Hanwell, Hanger hill and Pitshanger all ok in my opinion.

Not sure about bad areas, will have a think.

Hi, I can’t help with Ealing neighbourhoods, I’m afraid, but this thread might get more traffic if it was in a more appropriate spot. At the moment it’s on the ‘relationships’ board, where people tend to post about marital/relationship issues.

Pitshanger, Northfields, North Ealing and South Ealing, parts of Ealing Common

I don't like most of West Ealing and Hanwell. However some streets are ok.

Agree with all above but you might want to think about tube stations if you need them as north Ealing is not as well served as South Ealing and Northfields.
Also just in case, there is Ealing as in the London Borough of - which is a large area including Acton, and the town of Ealing which is the main shopping area centred around Ealing Broadway. The areas listed above are north, south and west of it.
