Went to Ikea today. Have only been there once before, with now-ex.

Walking though the marketplace I vividly remembered strolling hand in hand, all loved up, last time.

And now I feel shit all over again Sad

Who would've thought tealights and bathmats could be so upsetting?

Yes. Although with time they become memories. Sweet and bitter sweet memories like a chapter in a book. You want your life book to include a romantic tale of walking hand in hand. It would be awful to have none and it doesn’t need to be just one.

A future chapter can be buying designer linen in Heals with an interlude in Habitat’s kitchware department. Whatever you want in time. It will be better next time.

I hear you sista!! My 23 y ar old marriage is very up and down these days and I get upset when I see obviously loved up couples out and about or hear certain songs because they were all the thing when we met, it's the little stuff that gets you!!
