WHEN SHOULD WEDDING INVITES GO OUT

Hi all. I get married middle of April and i want to send out day invites earlier than the evening. There's a few unreliable with up and down relationships and a few that may spit their dummy out because their kids aren't on the day list etc. So there may end up been some juggling about a few taken off and put on night etc from RSVP's. So i wanted to get day response back before i send evening out as i cant really send a evening out then tall someone oh i can fit you on day now as then they will no they weren't a 1st choice which wouldn't be nice.

So i suggest sending day invoices out mid December to respond by end of Jan then sending Evening invites out Beg Feb to respond by mid March (4 weeks before wedding ) Is this reasonable or am i sending day out too early and is it daft to send them out 2 week before xmas :-/

Suggestions / advise welcome...

I'd wait until the New Year and people are no longer bogged down with Christmas planning.

Yeah i was thinking maybe weekend 12th Jan would be better :-)

People take forever to respond, especially if you want them to send a card back rather than call or text you. I'd send them out now with a deadline of mid-end of jan to respond. Then you will have time to chase people up and send more day invites out if necessary.
