Hi my BF’s son is 8 and since he was little he claimed to be able to see spirits etc . Which is fair enough. But it seems now his mother is actively encouraging him with pendulums etc to contact his dead grandma . He says his light goes off and on and off each night . Basically it’s freaking me and his dad out . Should she be doing this ?

No - it will scare the kid! Not your place but his dads.

I am a believer and I actually think its dangerous. He's too young to protect himself from things. I think children with special gifts should be left to decide when they are older whether they want to explore them or not.

Sounds like they need a good electrician.
