I met someone through work (a client of sorts), and for a while we spoke quite a lot, all work related but maybe with slight flirtation and eye contact. I became quite infatuated by him, but nothing happened (I am in a relationship and not sure about his status). Anyway, the work project ended and we never saw each other again.

But I cannot stop thinking about him. I think about him every day, many times a day. It's been months that I saw him or heard from him. I just sometimes google him and look at his pictures and interview videos. I am not going to do anything obviously, but I have been hoping for this to fade away, it's just not.

I really need to get him out of my head and I don't know how. Help me!

After being ghosted by someone I was happily in a relationship with the only thing that helped me move on was to make myself busy and organise plenty of social events where I knew I'd have fun. I found that while I was with other people having a nice time that I would think about him less until it stopped altogether if I was in the company of others. So being busy really took my mind off it and kind of broke the habit of wallowing in my loss.

A) Think about all the reasons you'd be a terrible couple

B) Every time you think of them, force yourself to think of Mr Bean instead. Works a charm.
