46, about to separate from my husband, any experience?

Children are 15 and 17. Been trying to make it work and putting up with mistreatment for a long time and feel the need to have a bit of fun and look after myself for the future. Thinking about online dating also. Anybody prepared to share their experiences? Is it doom and gloom or is there hope?

There's always hope!
Don't rush into another relationship. You need time to process the old one before you ring in the new. And you can have fun without a bloke in tow you know!
This bit is important.
Your kids are at crucial stages educationally and you need to gently assess the impact separation may have on their future ambitions. I'd wait until they're both in university or our of mainstream education personally. Something to consider.
