My parents are about to arrive for a visit/inspection (!) I left my husband of 20 years a year ago but I know there first question will be.... how is x? where is he today? how is his new (and much more superior to mine) house?
I get seriously annoyed with them and have told them before "why don't you ring him and ask him?" in the nicest way but it doesn't seem to make a blind bit of difference. Although my Dear old Dad does have form on this _ I remember him asking me about an ex boyfriend in front of the new boyfriend! My mum gave him a kick on the shins !! but she is just as bad now with the questions :(
