Husband's favourite excuse...

"Sorry I didn't think..."

Used tonight to justify him choosing to watch TV until late and sleep downstairs, leaving me to see to 2 very young children at night on my own who keep waking. I do most of it anyway, but need a bit of help by 5am.

Anyway, it seems it's a one size fits all excuse and I'm fed up of hearing it.

Is "not thinking" really a feesible excuse?!

You let yourself be left with it, just go and get him if you need help.

YABU Just go wake him if you need help. Sounds like you didn't wake him just so you could moan about him not helping. You're playing a game of 'see what you made me do!'. You need to grow up and take responsibility for your own actions.
