Does she fancy me or am I imagining this?

Around 5 months ago I went on a night out with a friend and her work friend (we will call her Lucy ) was out.
(Both me and Lucy are gay)
We all had a good time and after she added me to Facebook.
We went away to Manchester for the weekend and we once again got on well, she was asking me about previous relationships and she was telling me she was single, then she was asking what things I liked to do and just personal questions really.
After the weekend away my friend text saying Lucy had invited me to her cousins party.
I went along and we were stood outside and I caught her checking me out,she quickly looked away.
I posted a pic on my Snapchat about wanting to Going to Prague next year.
She sent me a message saying she was going next year and I should go and how I would enjoy it,we exchanged some messages.
Along the way there was eye contact and I just felt like she did fancy me (feeling is mutual )
I am ridiculously shy and run away everytime I fancy someone.
What do you think?

Sounds like fancies you! Ask her out!

whatbeshrekking · 29/10/2018 22:39

I think it sounds promising! If you really can't make a move without knowing, can't you ask your friend what she thinks?

belleha · 29/10/2018 22:53

I'm worried to ask friend incase she tells "Lucy" and Lucy doesn't actually fancy me.
I really get the vibes from her but you can never be 100%

Oh and I also have zero clue what her actual "type is either.

Totally sounds like she fancies you. And think about it lke this - if you tell her you like her and she doesn't feel the same way, it's no biggie. Everyone likes to know they're fancied - so she'd probably say thank you anyway. Then you can move forward and find someone else.

But if she does (I'm pretty sure she does and I think do are you) then wayayy the lads!

Just go for it girl. Life is short.

Plus who cares about type. I have no type to speak of (I'm bi and fancy people of all different shapes and sizes and colours - it's their eyes and confidence- and bums that draw me in at first but their personality keeps me interested).

Like I say, just say "I fancy you missus - wanna go on a date?". See what she says.

I deffo got vibes she does, hopefully she does.

Starlive23 · 31/10/2018 13:49

Definitely sounds promising!

Trinity66 · 31/10/2018 13:50

sounds like it

belleha · 31/10/2018 14:35

If she is "interested" so to speak why hasn't she asked me out?
Do you think she's possibly seeing if I'm interested first ?

She might well say the same about you. Maybe she's shy too.

passportpanic · 31/10/2018 15:01

I'm a bi woman and my wife isn't my 'type'. I mean, obviously she is now Grin but I don't think it matters even if you're not her usual type. You can be surprised by who you're attracted to sometimes, so don't think too much about that.

Maybe just flirt a little more and see what you get back. I would want a bit more reassurance before asking someone out.

belleha · 31/10/2018 15:22

I've never asked anyone out in my life.
I never actually normally say I like someone till I'm 100% sure they like me
