For some reason decided to search h's email as its quite an unusual name. only searched name and @ in inverted commas. Some usual things came up such as reviews he had written. But also a strange site called bestonlinedating came up with a stream of email addresses including h's. Also at the side was a date.
So is this for real or clickbait? Also is the date at the side the date he went on if he did. V odd.
It seems to be a sex chat or hook up site.

Surely you wouldn't use your email address?

To be honest I can't find any even remotely legitimate-looking sites under "best online dating". What's the web address you're looking at? From what's come up so far I'm not all that worried for you... but then again I can't really find what you've found.

Seems like a bit of a breach of data protection if it's showing that just from googling. Unless he was dumb enough to sign up with his email as his username. Seems odd. Wouldn't assume anything straight away from that.

Basically if it IS a legitimate dating site it's breaking all kinds of data protection listing all their clients online.

I think it will be something autogenerated for spamming purposes. Bots trawl he web looking for email addresses to add to mailing lists.

Sounds like he's on a dodgy spam list. I'd imagine any legit dating site wouldn't be so lax about email addresses.

Its called "onlinedating ru" and was hook up or chat. You will need to put in the ". Very dodgy site.

Screenshot? I can't find anything for onlinedating.ru; it's not even a website, just a "buy this domain" page.

Honestly, I'm starting to think if he was going online dating this is not the site he'd use. Christ, how would he even have found it??

If I were you I wouldn't worry too much about it if this is the only reason you're anxious. Is there anything else that's niggling at you?

It is spam of the spammiest order, I promise you. I've had the exact same "site" graphics pop up when watching TV on streaming sites, and when I was myself trawling my partner's online footprint. I would have been worried if I hadn't seen it before!

Advice to anyone putting "ru onlinedating" in their search bar, if you click on the first link it will be a nightmare of flashing "sign in here!" pages with naked women on, and every time you try and press "back" it will simply bring up another explicit variation on the theme.

Thanks so much Roly Poly!. Bloody hell I'm so relieved. Very dodgy site but it did come up when I searched his email and it had a last seen date. So it was a bit if a shocker.
