I’d like to hear about your first loves and how old you were when you met them? Those childhood sweethearts that you were completely besotted with. Perhaps lost your virginity to.
I have recently reconnected with mine, haven’t spoken to him for 12 years and his mum just passed away which I heard about and that made me reach out to him.
It’s been lovely catching up, seeing what sort of man he’s grown into and how he’s done with his life. It just got me wondering about other people’s first experiences of young love xx

My first love was my brothers best friend, so we've known each other since I was really little (about 3 or 4) as they were in primary school together.

I was the annoying little sister always trying to hang out with them but as we got older we realised we liked each other and would secretly hold hands in my kitchen whilst sat at the table, stealing kisses when no-one was looking.

He moved on to high school and I guess he outgrew me but years later (when I was about 21) we got back in touch, nothing much happened as he was going through a rocky relationship (he has actually ended up marrying her and having 2 adorable boys with her) but I so wanted to be in a relationship with him

Now I'm happily married with a family of my own but my first love lives just around the corner and I drive past him sometimes and he smiles and waves and I'm taken straight back to the 90's when we'd listen to Oasis and kiss in dark corners..... he's my one that got away and I still fancy the pants off him!!
