You love making sandwiches?!! What is your secret?!! I never know what to put in them!! DH buys his every day now

I suppose if I did make them again I could do a lovely nork imprint for him....but my norks are soo saggy and heavy post DS the sandwiches would look like that coyote thing getting hit by boulder after road runner has eluded him again....

Paddlechick666 · 15/06/2007 10:34

oooh i love making sarnies. H always saying i should do it for a business.

i tend to do mostly wraps these days:

pastrami and stilton with some salad
avacado, grated carrot, ham n cheese
bbq chicken and salad with home-made mango chutney
humous, pine nut and salami/parma ham and cherry tomato
brie and cranberry and salad
guacamole, salad and peppers
tuna mayo with chopped peppers
pastrami cheese n pickle
avacado and chicken with tomato salsa
leftover steak cut into strips with crumbled stilton salad and a drizzle of balsamic dressing

mmmm, maybe this should be on the food threads!

lol

NikkiBFG · 15/06/2007 13:36

Paddle! Am over the steak one!!!!

Paddlechick666 · 15/06/2007 21:37

Nikki, if you ever do a roast beef then that one's a brilliant leftovers.

especially if you like your beef rare then save the really pink bits.

it works better as just a salad tbh.

i also do a fantastic avacado, king prawn and toasted pine nut salad with lots of balsamic and oil home made dressing.

in fact, that's what i had for tea tonight!

NikkiBFG · 15/06/2007 21:52

Your DH must be one happy man!

Paddlechick666 · 16/06/2007 07:53
