Why do men just moan on online dating?

"Nobody talks on here, I see there all online and too busy"

"Women all fake on here"

"I'm new but going to delete my account, too many timewasters"

And so on (are things I've read in my inbox in last few days)

Ffs nobody is obligated to reply to any particular mans messages and why can't women just message a few times, find out they don't like someone and simply ignore from that point rather than waste their time on someone their not interested in?

Even if I was interested, soon as I see one of these statements I write them off as being wingy childmen

I agree! "Nobody talks on here" - yeh, that'd be you that's the problem there mate. They're often the ones with a profile blurb saying "can't be bothered to write anything, just message me". Might as well write "I'm a stroppy, lazy, entitled jerk who thinks women should do all the work in a relationship". I used to set my POF settings so that first messages had to be over 100 characters long and would get so many messages with "xxxxxxxxxxx" to take up 98 characters, followed by "hi". Twats everywhere. So glad my OLD days are over!!

Yep - discount them immediately!

I think it's excellent that they do this. It's an instant way of finding out that you can rule them out without wasting any more of your time.

I quite like it too, as it is an easy way of winnowing them out. They're clearly miserable fuckers!

Women are just as guilty of this.

Having been on OLD (and I’m male), I can promise you that just as many female profiles say (almost word for word) the same.

And you don’t have to be using OLD for long before you get very jaded - as it sounds like you’ve become OP. Worth persevering though - my DP and I have been together five years now, having met via POF.
