So my oh is always talking down to me he constantly raises his voice at me when we are out in public and he is always calling me the c word. My daughter (20) has today broke down in tears and said she is sick of watching this and me doing nothing about it, but I am so used to it that I just see it as normal.

It's not normal it's horrible, if he treats you like that, leave him or kick him out

Where is your self respect? How can you possibly let him get away with that? Your dd has got much more sense than you have, and she's getting distressed by it. Do something ffs!
