My dilemma, I have three dcs, one at secondary. His school is just out of catchment but he got in with a few friends and seems quite happy now, he wanted to go to this school over another that’s nearer and as the school appears to be very good I was happy with this. Now comes the time for my second dc to apply, he can apply for same school as dc1 and with sibling element he should get a place, but due to the amount of children this school year it looks unlikely many,if any, of his friends will get in too, they will be in the catchment school. I don’t know what to do!! Go for the school where dc1 is that’s good and we have been happy with but there is a chance he will go on his own, or the school where his friends will likely go(I didn’t especially like this one when we visited,neither did dc1)?? I will be in the same predicament for dc3!! Any advice much appreciated, thank you:)
