I've just split from DP and I need to stay single for a good while and sort out a lot of issues I have.
Problem is I've never really been single for more than a few months. I don't even know how to be.
Are there any self help books or anything to give me a bit of a boost?

Read "Women who love too much" by Dr Robin Norwood.

Also consider what you yourself learnt about relationships when growing up.

Codependent no more by melody Beattie and more importantly the workbook is excellent for working through stuff.
