My DH keeps saying this

Sorry for tmi. I'm 26 weeks pregnant with an unplanned baby but we're very happy to be pregnant. Almost every time we have sex when my DH climaxes he says 'I'm so glad I got you pregnant'. I've asked him about this and he says he can't remember saying it but keeps doing it!

MarthasGinYard · 28/08/2018 21:12

Ugh Confused

RatRolyPoly · 28/08/2018 21:14

Does he mean it makes him feel all virile and manly??

It's a new one on me Confused

BakerBear · 28/08/2018 21:14

What a turn off

Riotheparrott · 28/08/2018 21:14

He's like the nicest guy ever but he just keeps blurting it out!

So, it's an unplanned pregnancy as far as you are concerned. Is he telling you that he planned it all by himself?

MarthasGinYard · 28/08/2018 21:16

Try saying

'It wasn't you'

'Twill sort it Grin

LuckyDiamond · 28/08/2018 21:17
Grin
RatRolyPoly · 28/08/2018 21:17

Being generous here, is it the equivalent of the post-orgasmic, "oh god, I love you SOOO much!"??

ohdeardeardear · 28/08/2018 21:19

I think he is more pleased than you think, that you are pregnant and he is in a state of euphoria after an orgasm, hence he blurts our something that is making him happy, just ignore him, it is not a massive issue really.

Jenala · 28/08/2018 21:21

How can he not remember. Is he pissed everytime?

Maybe he's one of those guys with a pregnancy/conception fetish and it was less unplanned than you think.... what contraception were you on?

AnneLovesGilbert · 28/08/2018 21:23

I’d find that incredibly off putting.

rosamore · 28/08/2018 21:23

Do you usually use condoms or have him finish somewhere other than 'inside'?

My first husband used to say stuff like that i. a "I'm so glad we don't have to use condoms because you're already pregnant" kind of way.

Butterfly44 · 28/08/2018 21:27

Ah yes...@rosamore has it!!!
That's why he says it.

Riotheparrott · 28/08/2018 21:29

we were using the pull out method and got carried away Blush

SunflowerJo08 · 28/08/2018 22:08

I'm guessing that is why then, as now he can just 'do it' with no fear of you becoming pregnant, as you already are. I'd definitely tell him to stop saying it though, it's a bit yuck.

Riotheparrott · 28/08/2018 23:23

I have told him but he says he doesn't know he's saying it Hmm

I'm afraid that makes it sound a bit more sinister, to me. It's a terrible contraceptive method anyway, as you know.

After this child, make sure you're using a reliable contraception if you don't want another one, and make sure it's one that he can't tamper with.

NadiaLeon · 28/08/2018 23:46

Why not ignore it and get on with your life... It's a little odd, but nothing you need to contact woman's aid about

esk1mo · 28/08/2018 23:47

have you posted about this before?

Riotheparrott · 29/08/2018 00:24

I posted about it before as i thought it was a one off but it keeps happening!

OP posts:
Mrstobe90 · 29/08/2018 00:59

I remember you posting about this quite a while ago. If he hasn't stopped by now, he's not going to.

cakecakecheese · 29/08/2018 06:44

Make him wear a ball gag? Grin

An ex once said 'have it' at the point of climax. He was told if he ever did that again his future chances of 'having it' would be greatly reduced.

Riotheparrott · 29/08/2018 08:59

I've told him no sex until baby's here if he does it again.
