*Trigger warning* was this sexual molestation?

I'm sorry if this in the wrong place, I'm not sure where to post this exactly.

I had a dream recently that triggered a memory I haven't thought about in a very long time and I'm not sure what to make of it to be honest.

My female cousin who is three years older than me would pretend to have sex with me in my bed with the quilt over us when I was around 7. She would be on top of me and kiss me and use one of those chunky lego bricks which was supposed to be a penis, and rub it on me, but I didn't stop her because I liked it. I also remember her telling my brother and me to take our pants off and expose our selves to each other which we did.I remember being 7 and thinking of wanting to be sexy and of sex.

Was all that honestly really just normal child behavior or was it more?

I can’t say for sure, but I had a friend that always wanted to play ‘boyfriends’
She would lay on top of me and giggle a lot. I remember feeling uncomfortable about it and would try to suggest any other game. She eventually stopped asking

I think that a wide range of childhood sexual behaviour is exploratory and about curiosity in each other’s bodies and about sex - which generally isn’t spoken about freely and so is all a bit mysterious and exciting: and without any detail to go on it’s impossible to say whether your cousin’s games fall into that category or into something else.

When I was about 9 or 10, my best friend and I would play a make believe game where she was a beautiful model and I was her boyfriend, Peter Andre (don’t laugh!) We’d take our clothes off and simulate sex as part of pretending to be a couple who lives together. Neither of us had any experience of childhood sexual abuse, it was just purely exploratory. I have plenty of other friends who played similar games.

No it’s not molestation. It’s just kids exploring their sexuality. Had loads of stuff like that go on with my sibling and with a couple of girls of the same age as us who lived nearby. Got caught once by the girls’ mum alll very embarrassing.

I wouldnt look too much into it for those ages, im assuming it stopped and never went further?

Ok im going to say yes this is slightly off what you would expect as normal exploratory play for that age and yes I work in the area and have half a clue. On a personal note i had a personal experience very similar with a female cousin that i only recalled much later in life. I later found out she was abused as a child so in the sum of life i just let my experience go. It was nothing compared to what she had been thru and ultimately i was ok but that's only my experience and u need to decide how u feel about your own experience x

Thank you for the replies. I still feel confused to be honest, but I will bring it up with my therapist .
