Long story short. I like a guy I work with, he also likes me. We have discussed things and I said I liked him a lot but wanted to take it slowly. (We both have children from previous relationships he had a very busy couple of weeks but was jealous when seen me talking to male colleagues. I checked if he still felt the same and asked him what he wanted to do. He said he wants to arrange a few dates and getting to know me properly. He is always happy when he sees me and has started do this strange little wave? He does however seem to have a few hang ups, he also lives with mum (39) and calls his mum everyday to find out what's for tea. I suspect he is a complex character.

So a dude you work with is jealous when you talk to other men and lives with his mum. Yep, sounds like a keeper. 😂

The jealousy things would have me running like mad. The ringing his mum about his tea everyday isn't exactly a red flag but would put me right off!

Kind of how I feel, I know I can be a bit harsh!!

He doesn’t sound a complex character. I think he sounds like a very simple man.

Sweetmummy77 · 22/08/2018 22:38

I know, I can be harsh but it wound me up. He just has a way to play the heartstrings which is why I have put distance between us

I'd want to meet his mother before I made a decision, but I'd be leaning towards dumping him. He just sounds a bit...wet.
My husband had his mother living with him when we met, but he was caring for her through her final illness, she was an absolute riot, she liked me and he made it clear that he was very keen on me.
