Hi everyone .my mum is very manipulative and recently she fell out with me because I talk to a relative she doesn't speak to.she shouted at me and my dcs for talking to this relative.we haven't spoke or text as I know she'll just shout at me further.in a way I'm happy that she's not looming over me as she's always pulled me down I just don't want to be a bad person .

Nope your not in the wrong. You should be able to speak to whoever you want to. I'm guessing that there is a big backstory here so maybe use this as an opportunity to distance yourself from her for a while.

Thank you xxher and a relative fell out 10 years ago over a minor thing that wasn't myrelatives fault but my mum and my aunt disowned her and forbid anyone from talking to her.shes never happy for me in anything and doesn't show love to me .
