So me and my other half have been together nearly 10 years getting together young having children young and few mistakes made along the way, but he always holds onto my one mistake 7 years ago I’m unhappy our relationship is boring I chuck my all into the children but do I stay just for the sake of them this has been my life for 10 years a change is scary in that sense...

So you banged on of his mates 7 years ago, or similar? If he hasn't let go of that by now then it's best you both walk away.
